What is The Fosse Way?

The Fosse Way is a website about Leicester City, written by the fans, for the fans.

TFW exists because we found it increasingly difficult to find good writing about Leicester. Everything was scattered across the internet and often either hidden behind a paywall or awash in a sea of adverts.

We want to change all that.

TFW will always be free to read and we promise we won’t ever hit you with a single pop-up. We won’t keep telling you about the odds and you don’t need to sign up for anything.

Our goal is to become the place for Leicester coverage. Somewhere you can read a variety of opinions about the club. Where you can follow the fortunes of all our teams. Where you can read about the latest tactical trends, share match-going experiences, or dive back in time to an age where Hossein Kaebi was about to take the world by storm.

Who we are

The Fosse Way was established in 2022 and is managed by David Bevan, Joe Brewin, James Knight and Helen Thompson.

David Bevan is the author of The Unbelievables: The Remarkable Rise of Leicester City.

Joe Brewin worked at FourFourTwo magazine for nine years and ghostwrote Matt Piper’s award-nominated autobiography, Out of the Darkness.

James Knight is yet to write his best-selling exposé of the year Leicester started seven different goalkeepers in a single season.

Helen Thompson was previously Yahoo Sport’s Leicester City blogger and was lucky enough to be able to write about that 2015/16 season.

TFW is also made up of lots of regular contributors, such as Jamie Barnard, Matt Jedruch, Becky Taylor, Jamie Thorpe and Iain Wright.

How can I contribute?

We want to provide a platform to anyone who wants to write about the club. We want to create a diverse community of writers that reflects Leicester as a place. So whether you want to start a career in journalism or just want somewhere to vent about set pieces, we’d love you to get involved.

We’ll be up front about this: nobody involved is making a penny out of TFW – no ads and no paywall comes at a price – but if you can write and you have a passion for all things LCFC, we have a home for you.

If you want to contribute to TFW, please email us.
